A doctor is available for consultation on weekdays until 6pm by appointment, except on Thursdays when they are available till 1.00pm.
When the surgery is closed please call 01675 442510 and listen carefully to the message which will explain who you need to call to access a GP or out of hour emergency cover.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

If you are suffering a life threatening or severe injury or illness go to your nearest Accident and emergency department or dial 999.
For example: Choking, Heavy Blood Loss, Chest pain, Serious injury, Blacking out, Fits.
If you need a doctor in an emergency and the surgery is closed telephone the usual surgery number (01675 442510), and the answer phone will tell you how to contact a doctor.
Please note that on a Thursday afternoon when the surgery is closed from 1.00pm and until 6.30pm you can access medical care by calling Arden Medical Centre, Downing Close, Knowle, B93 0QA by calling 01564 739194. Please be aware by calling this number that the clinical & reception teams at Arden Medical Centre will have full access to your medical records. If it is after 6.30pm on Thursday please call the NHS 111 service on 111.
The NHS 111 service is available to deal with emergency and non emergency queries. They can be contacted by dialling 111.
Patients are advised to call 111 before attending any urgent care services as alternative services are available and more are coming on line in November. These include the options to direct patients directly to a pharmacist or to speak to a dental nurse for example.
Children who appear very unwell or need urgent treatment for a serious illness or injury should be taken to Heartlands Hospital A&E rather than Solihull Hospital.
